Best Labyrinth app so far and its only going to get better.
This is a very well executed application. It’s thoughtfully laid out and the levels are easily picked by a small maps of each level. The ability to tweak the sensitivity and friction makes this game a winner. If you want it super real and super hard to play it can be. If you want it a bit more arcadeish you can have that as well. The sounds are realistic, the physics are spot on. Its a little difficult to load and even find the new user created levels but from what I see on their website a new means of accessing those is in the works. In case your wondering the Full version also has the "endless" level mode in case you like it.
Some of you may be thinking should I get this app or the "other" app... I like this one better. The 3D is better (stronger maybe), the whole layout and visuals are a bit more warm and appealing, this app has the JUMP capability which is super cool for more arcade style levels. The physics are the same from what I could feel but in this app they can be adjusted as I stated above. With the new ability for users to create their own levels there is no reason to not like this app. It was the biggest and only shortcoming vs the "other" app. One thing I noticed was that the free version of the "other" one has a couple extra ads. This says a little something to me. Dont get me wrong, the other app is a good app as well, I just think this one is better, plain and simple.
Some user have reported issues. I have downloaded all the extra packs as suggested by the author and havent had any problems yet. Im running on a 3GS with 3.0
The biggest thing about this app is that its just about to blossom. I can see it taking over and becoming the real winner here. As soon as the new method to access the user created levels is implemented its game on.
